About Ava Ray
Avery, the inspiration behind, Ava Ray, was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor at age four, a moment that has profoundly shaped her life. Since overcoming cancer, she has excelled academically and athletically, championed a variety of efforts for the pediatric cancer community, and published a children's book aimed at encouraging children facing serious illness. Avery is pursuing a career in medicine, inspired by her own experiences as a patient.
